Project Details
Description
250 Saplings Planted Under Rotary’s Green Initiative A large-scale tree plantation program was successfully conducted at two locations under Rotary District 3292’s "100,000 Trees Plantation Campaign", organized by the Rotary Club of Butwal South in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Butwal South and the Rotaract Club of Tinau City. Approximately 250 saplings, including teak and various fruit-bearing species, were planted at Darbaha Bhagwati Temple, Suddhodhan Rural Municipality–5, and the premises of Janata Secondary School, Materiya, Suddhodhan Rural Municipality–7. The initiative aimed to promote environmental conservation, increase green cover, and encourage community participation in building a cleaner and more sustainable future. Rotary and Rotaract leaders, club members, local representatives, school staff, students, and community members actively participated in the plantation drive. The program reflects Rotary District 3292’s commitment to its "100,000 Trees Plantation Campaign", reinforcing Rotary’s dedication to environmental sustainability and community service.
